Job Title: Telemedicine/Developmental Services Coordinator

Qualifications:
bullet

Diploma/ Degree as a regulated Health Care Provider. Social Services (community development) or Economic Development (Business) Degree or diploma or equivalent in work experience;

bullet

Must have a minimum of two years experience as a manager in Health services, community/business administration and development with senior supervisory experience. Experience in health services is a definite asset;

bullet

Ability to speak Cree, Oji-Cree, or Ojibway, a very strong asset;

bullet

Demonstrated ability to administer and co-manage community-based initiatives;

bullet

Strong oral and written communication skills (including report and proposal writing skills);

bullet

Must have knowledge and proven experience in computerized word processing. Competence in a database program(s) a definite asset;

bullet

Experience with Telemedicine/Videoconferencing;

bullet

Experience with automated information management systems;

bullet

Knowledge of health and privacy legislation;

bullet

Knowledge of and commitment to the services provided by Keewaytinook Okimakanak and SLFNHA;

bullet

Knowledge of the people, culture, history of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation; in-depth knowledge of the economic climate and business development priorities of the First Nations.

Duties:
bulletIdentify priority services of integration and work with partners to facilitate service introduction and integration within the Sioux Lookout Health Zone
bulletServe as a Team Leader for the Developmental Services Program
bulletCo-ordinate all aspects of the establishment of activities and tasks that will help ensure the success of KO Telemedicine/Developmental Services Program into the Sioux Lookout First Nations Zone
bulletAdminister  the community engagement and evaluation activities and processes as set down by the Telemedicine Program Manager
bulletPromote the programs and products developed throughout the project
