CASUAL SUPPLY TEACHERS:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Municipality requires supply teachers for our Municipally owned and operated Day Care Centres.   Under the direction of the Day Care Manager and Day Care Supervisor, this position is responsible for working with the regular Day Care Teachers in implementing a safe and stimulating program for children in accordance with the Day Nurseries Act and established procedures, guidelines, and schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·              Preference will be given to candidates with an Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent.

·              Grade 12 or equivalent required.

·              Interest in the field of Early Childhood Education.

·              Experience working with children

·              First aid and CPR Certificate.

·              The Employee must provide a clean criminal reference check at their cost.

WAGE:          $20.17/hour
